So they asked us to create a brand platform for the kind of upscale hand soap and lotion brand you’d find in the washroom of fine hotels and restaurants.
In an upscale hotel or restaurant, guests expect to find established brands like Molton Brown and L’Occitane in the washroom.
Although Sealed Air Diversey Care is the market leader in commerical dispensing systems, they aren’t known for luxury product or packaging design.
In order to streamline supply management, the hospitality industry needs a single washroom solution with universal appeal.
The washroom soap and lotion market represents an approximately $1.5 billion global market opportunity.
Consumers prefer personal hygiene products that indulge all the senses – not just touch.

Working closely with Sealed Air’s international team, we refined design prototypes and crafted a multi-channel brand platform to support the launch and subsequent marketing campaign. Although the primary sales channel for the new upscale personal hygiene brand will be existing hospitality customers, we created a number of consumer-facing touchpoints so that Lapē could one day compete with consumer market leaders in the washroom soap and lotion category.
